Today I am going to review the book “I Dared to Call Him Father” by Bilquis Sheikh, a prominent Muslim woman and former wife of a Minister of the Interior, in Pakistan. What a beautiful story of the work of the Spirit of Elohim in drawing and convicting. Throughout the book, His Spirit woos her, speaks to her heart and makes His presence known in amazing ways. She has dreams for which there is no other explanation than that He is communicating to her in them.
I also loved having a peek into her world. I discovered many things about Muslims that I did not know. In many ways they live a beautiful life.
If you want to read yet another story of a person who lived the book of Acts, this book is it. It will cause you to long for the same relationship with His Spirit and the reality of His presence in your life. Do you ever wonder why we don’t often hear of those in our own country with this type of experience? Why do you suppose that is the case?
